AI/ML Researcher – Content Intelligence

We're building AI-native tools to help readers discover, summarize, and engage with business content. As our first dedicated AI researcher, you'll develop the models and systems that power personalized recommendations, semantic search, and intelligent content features.
What you'll do
- Research and develop ML models for content recommendation and discovery
- Build semantic search and retrieval systems for our article corpus
- Prototype AI-powered reading features (summarization, Q&A, synthesis)
- Collaborate with product team to integrate AI capabilities into user-facing features
- Evaluate emerging LLM capabilities and identify product opportunities
What we're looking for
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of industry ML experience, preferably in NLP or information retrieval
- Strong Python skills and experience with modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, JAX)
- Experience with LLMs, RAG systems, and embedding models
- Published research or significant open-source contributions preferred
